Remember a book can make a marvelous holiday (or birthday) gift and yes, Home Free:  Adventures of a Child of the Sixties is still available to order at your local indie bookstore, from Barnes & Noble or Amazon.
Such an interesting event to plan:  I’ll blend readings from Home Free with some simple meditations. Sponsored by the Binghamton Area Reading Council.  Refreshments include a selection of fruits and vegetables, a cheese platter and a hot chocolate bar!   Limited seating.  Reservations and information at barcny.weebly.com.

LINKS TO PAST READINGS:

“WHAT WERE THE ’60S REALLY LIKE?”   I loved reading this outtake from the book, about the commune I visited in West Virginia, called Welcome Home.  The farm had been purchased by a couple of middle class dropouts, a dentist and his wife I called the Schafmans.

“What Were the Sixties REALLY Like?” August, 2017, The Cornelia Street Café, NYC.  I read one of my favorite excerpts from Home Free.  Enjoy!

What were the '60's really like, a reading of her novel by Rifka Kreiter
