Dancing with Time … this is how a wise friend, a woman who does great work in the world to benefit others, described her intention one New Year’s Day. It might have been 1996. Her resolution was to find time to meditate twice a day, in the midst of her busy schedule of service, which she always performed in a loving way. I wanted to be like her. This morning, as my meditation included anxious thoughts of all the To Do’s and ideas about how to support my book as pub date approaches, I recalled Catherine’s words. May I stay open to the inner guide, so I may naturally perform whatever action is called for in each moment; may I perform each action without worry, with ease and grace; and may all my actions be of benefit to myself and others. Amen! 🙂
